For events at the Elementary School, please use St. Matthew's Church Parking Lot.

Tax, Water and Sewer Bills

All Village property tax, sewer and water bills were mailed on June 1st. Unpaid bills will accrue penalties on the 1st day of each month. TAX BILLS unpaid as of October 31 will be relevied, with penalties and $50 relevy fee, to Albany County tax bills.

The 2nd installment of all sewer bills is due October 31. Sewer rents can be paid in quarterly, semi-annual or annual installments. Penalties accrue monthly on all unpaid portions of a bill, including prior penalties.

We do accept a legible postmark for the due date.

All bills can be paid via the US mail, in person at Village Hall during office hours, or by slipping the bill through the mail slot on the front door of Village Hall after hours.

Please Note: on-line bill payments from your bank most times are sent in bulk and do not have a postmark date on the envelopes. Please plan according when paying bills in this manner.

Amanda’s Law-Carbon monoxide alarm requirements in effect as of February 22, 2010

Amanda’s Law went into effect on February 22, 2010. It requires essentially all residences, both new and existing, to have carbon monoxide alarms installed.

ALL homes are required to have one carbon monoxide alarm installed on the lowest story having a sleeping area.

BATTERY RECYCLING PROGRAM SUSPENDED

Due to budget cuts, the battery recycling program sponsored by the Albany County Soil and Water Conservation District has been suspended, effective March 1, 2010.
